Martin joined NEPTUNE/VENUS in April 2005 as DMAS Systems Manager.
Martin received his B.Sc. in Astrophysics at the University of Toronto in 1979 which was followed by a Masters and PhD in Zoology. He then spent 7 years at the Centre for Visual Sciences, Australian National University, where he worked in a variety of vision and imaging projects and administered a number of Unix systems as a post doc and research officer.
Martin has been using Unix since 1984 for everything from web servers to real-time robotic control. Before joining NEPTUNE Canada he was Unix systems Administrator in the McPherson Library at UVic.
