Michael Wilson has over 30 years experience in all aspects of the Submarine cable industry and systems from initial concept through survey, planning, manufacture and final installation and acceptance. This includes use of ancillary equipment such as ROV’s and ploughs.
Prior to forming Pacific International Cable Consulting Inc (PICC) in 1999, Michael was a employed by Cable & Wireless (Marine) in the rank of Chief Cable Engineer and has since worked with many major international organizations and manufacturers such as 360Networks, NOAA, USDOJ, and Alcatel-Lucent Submarine Networks (ASN).
He has also been involved in planning and installation of a number of submarine cabled observatory projects including NEPTUNE Canada, MARS and NEMO.
