Biography

Khai Ong

Intermediate Software Engineer

Khai earned a Bachelor in Electrical Engineering from University Technology Malaysia in 1999. Upon graduation, he commenced his career in Singapore as a hardware R&D engineer. He later switched to software in 2001, and began part-time studies at National University of Singapore, earning a Master's of Technology in Software Engineering in 2004. Khai is also a Sun Certified Java Programmer. Khai stayed and worked in Singapore for about 8 years until receiving an overseas assignment opportunity in England, where he worked from 2007 to 2010 before immigrating to Canada. In his last job in England, he also had the opportunity to serve a some project management role. Khai enjoys travelling, photography and cooking. He also enjoys learning new cultures and languages.
