Biography
Ron Schouten
Senior Software Engineer
Ron joined NEPTUNE Canada in April 2010 as a Senior Front-End Application Developer supporting the DMAS software.
Ron graduated from the University of Victoria in 2000 with a Bachelor of Commerce degree but soon found his passion was in developing web applications with complex and highly dynamic interfaces. Ron brings over 10 years of web development experience working for large e-commerce websites and small start-up companies building Web 2.0 and social networking applications. Although adept at working on the server-side as well, Ron is happiest working with dynamic client-side languages and debugging obscure browser compatibility problems.
Ron's interest range from mobile technologies and browser extensions to travel and recently returned from an extended stay in Japan.
